Women in Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics is hosting an exciting day program called "Women in Mathematics" to celebrate Women's History Month. The program, organized by Shanna Dobson, will feature invited speakers comprised of current mathematics faculty, alumni, students, and community members, and interactive events. Topics will include Women in MathArt presentations on the vibrant intersections of mathematics and the arts (math-dance, math literature, math-poetry, and math-crochet), showcasing the historical contributions of women in mathematics, and actively honoring the legacy of women in mathematics.
